Ethics - Classroom

Ethics continuing education requirements vary from state-to-state, with the number of hours and content dependent on each state’s Department of Insurance regulations.

The National Alliance provides classroom Ethics courses in these states:

Alaska (3 hours)
California (4 hours)
New Mexico (1 hour)
Texas (2 hours)
Utah (3 hours)

Some classroom Ethics courses are conducted along with another National Alliance program so you can meet your Ethics requirement at the same place, conveniently scheduled around your other National Alliance program.

A 4-hour Ethics OnLine course, Legal & Ethical Requirements of Insurance Professionals, is available to everyone; you must pass the examination to receive CE credit. Go to our CE Guide.

For further information and details about requirements in your state, we recommend visiting your state’s department of insurance website.
